I felt it would be valuable to include notes from other Teach Me Bass Guitar Reviews, because after all, my Teach Me Bass Guitar Review is ultimately one perspective.
You will notice a common thread in Teach Me Bass Guitar Reviews across the internet and in print: people are consistently saying it’s the most thorough and impressive Bass DVD course they have come across. So far, it really has set the standard and the Teach Me Bass Guitar Reviews reflect this.
“Just thought I’d drop you a line to let you know how I’m getting on with this awesome product. I have never enjoyed anything as much as I’m enjoying learning bass (with TMBG). You just don’t get this quality of tuition anywhere else that I’m aware of. To be able to sit in a room with someone of Roy’s talent and ability is incredible. The benefits of this are amazing. You can learn at your own pace, you can feel dumb and no one else knows, you can play the same lesson over and over and you only pay once. And it’s very easy to understand and being able to play along with a world-class band gives you the confidence to be able to go and look for people to jam with. I’m well pleased with the product and with my progress…and the price is another bonus! There is only one more thing you could add, an autographed poster-sized portrait of Ashley!”

Roy Vogt’s Teach Me Bass Guitar is, without a doubt, the most thorough instructional course I’ve ever seen! Regardless of one’s level of accomplishment on the bass, this series of ten DVDs offers something for everyone – even those who have never picked up a bass before.
Roy’s presentation couldn’t be more clear, particularly with the use of multiple camera angles, helpful editing and Roy’s straightforward, easy to understand approach.

If you are brand new to the bass, you have come to the right place. You are going to start off with learning the basic parts of the bass and some finger exercises essential to developing the muscles you need to play.
If you have already been playing for a while, don’t think this is just a beginner bass dvd course. Far from it. Even if you already know your way around the neck, Roy is going to super charge your knowledge of the fretboard and bass playing in general.
Roy covers a very wide range of topics. From learning scales and arpeggios, to slapping and two handed tapping. You will also explore playing bass in different styles of music, from Jazz to Rock to Reggae.

Roy Vogt’s Teach Me Bass Guitar DVD series is surely getting a lot of reviews by those who have tried it out and those who haven’t alike. Like any other commodity out there on the market, it is bound to be loved and also disliked at the same time. A run through the Teach Me Bass Guitar reviews reveals that those who like it do so for various reasons – and so do the very few who have some disagreements. As you probably know by now, Teach Me Bass Guitar is an interactive instructional video course that comprises of 16 hours of step – by – step bass lessons. It also comes with a detailed instruction manual.
One blogger – with Teach Me Bass Guitar Reviews describes the course as inspirational. Contending that it is impressive, he argues that though it might be more expensive than a typical bass DVD, it is very good value for money – something echoed on this site. He also notes that the entire cost of the course is similar or less than a very small number of lessons with a professional player with an international performingn career.
Another reviewer working his way through the Teach Me Bass Guitar interactive video course has even started his own blog to share about his experience with it as well as to keep himself motivated. Ironically, the first response he gets on his blog is a pretty disheartening one. A responder poses this question to him, ‘Just wondering, why do you think we’d care?’ Obviously, the latter doesn’t think much about Vogt’s DVD, but overall responses were positive with other Teach Me Bass Guitar reviews.
John Liebman – another blogger – calls Teach Me Bass Guitar ‘the most thorough instructional course I’ve ever seen.’ According to him, the series of DVDs offers something for everyone – regardless of their level of accomplishment on the bass – even those who’ve never picked up a bass guitar before. This is especially so – he continues – because it starts with the very basic concepts and only gets complex gradually.
CyberfretBass.com’s Shawn Bradshaw’s contribution to Teach Me Bass Guitar reviews highlights that Vogt’s DVD series is not perfect because no course can really be 100% comprehensive. He stresses that Vogt holds a Masters degree in electronic bass and has decades of professional playing experience. According to him, all this information and experience cannot be bequeathed to someone in just 16 hours! He however concludes that Roy’s guidance can surely make the practice fun and faster and that it is still a very worthwhile course.
James Howard, in California, lauds Teach Me Bass Guitar’s customer service. He happens to have bought a defective disc, which has been replaced even before he has had the time to return the defective one! ‘Not only is your product the best teaching tool,’ he says, ‘I will continue to sing your praises to everyone I know.’ He concludes by thanking Vogt’s team.
According to Mike Hopper in Madison, USA, Teach Me Bass Guitar looks very professional. He says that ‘it is well thought out and Roy is an excellent teacher.’ He ends his contribution to the Teach Me Bass Guitar reviews by stating: ‘He [Roy] makes the advanced stuff easy to understand.’
